Navigating Heavy Weeks (aka Grief).... It Happens

Some weeks carry more weight than others.
The air feels thicker, the days stretch a little longer, and even the simplest tasks ask for more energy than usual. This past week was one of those. A week where I had to pause. Breathe. Sit still. Grieve quietly. Reflect deeply.
In our world of constant movement, it’s easy to forget that slowing down is a form of strength. That making space for our emotions—without explanation or apology—is part of healing. I had to remind myself of that. I had to let stillness hold me.
If you’re feeling the heaviness too, know that you’re not alone. Give yourself permission to move differently. To unplug. To cry. To laugh at something silly and not feel guilty. To rest. To just be.
This season isn’t about productivity—it's about presence. It’s about tending to your heart and honoring whatever it needs, moment by moment.
Be gentle with yourself. You’re doing better than you think.

Take a moment for you.
Find a quiet space, even if it’s just for five minutes.
Place one hand over your heart, the other over your belly.
Inhale slowly.
Exhale completely.
Ask yourself: What do I need right now?
Then, give yourself permission to honor that answer—no matter how small it may seem.
If you feel led, reply or comment: How are you, really? I’d love to hold space for you too.
